Care for gemstones:

It is advisable to avoid shocks and scratches, which may damage the stone. We also recommend removing jewelry with gemstones before coming into contact with any detergents, as they may cause contamination or dullness. In most cases, stones can be cleaned with a soft brush. However, for opals, avoid all contact with chemicals, as they can be absorbed and cause discoloration. Natural opals also retain a small amount of moisture, so it is important not to let them dry out excessively (for example, due to very dry air or prolonged exposure to strong sunlight).

Care for sterling silver:

We use standard sterling silver alloy, which contains 92.5% pure silver, 5.25% copper, and 2.25% zinc. We do not use any additional additives, including nickel. Copper and zinc are added to increase the hardness of silver, as pure silver is too soft for jewelry-making.

However, even sterling silver is relatively soft (especially compared to steel), and it is susceptible to mechanical damage. Therefore, we recommend avoiding heavy impact, pressure, or contact with hard metal objects, which can bend or damage the piece.

If your silver jewelry has tarnished, you can clean it gently with a soft brush or a flannel cloth.
